All I want – what I really, really want – for Christmas is this Josef Hartwig designed chess set.

Actually, that’s not quite true. Because, actually, I just want the box.

Not that I don’t LOVE these 1923-designed pieces. It’s just that the box is perfect. The beautiful and restrained use of black and white. Perfectly spaced lettering. Exquisite shapes.
